My opinions on King Louis and Marie was that they were awful leaders and fully deserve what they got.
They treated their country awfully. They raised taxes just for the third estate which was already the poorest. If they taxed the 2nd estate more things would have been better and Louis and Marie would still have their heads and would have reigned for longer. They also put their country in some very deep debt. Louis had very bad leadership he didn’t like Marie for the longest time. Also he gave all their money to the Americans for war causing a lot of debt.
